13th Birthday

Veteran's Day flags are always out on Dallin's birthday. I used to always tell him that the flags were for him. Now that he's a Boy Scout, he is responsible for waking up at sunrise and placing the flags around the neighborhood at the homes of people who subscribe for the flag service. He's no longer a believer that they are all for him. On the evening of his birthday, there was a big scout camporee, so he celebrated his birthday making dutch oven desserts and staying up late with the boys.

Another perk to having a birthday on a national holiday--all the kids are out of school. He was able to invite a friend to go to the skate park and try out his new scooter. First we stopped by In N Out Burger for his favorite food. And afterward we went to the gas station for his favorite beverage: Pepsi.

The big day he was waiting for was Sunday when he could have Luressa and the family over for lunch and cake.

Finally! He found a fan of his YouTube channel.
